Condensate Management

Condensate management is needed as condensate is generated at almost all stations in the compressed air system, from the compressing stage through to treatment by filtration or drying.

The EWD energy efficient condensate drain prevents air losses minimising energy expenditure. The intelligent drain function monitors condensate build-up and removes liquid only when necessary.

If the oil in compressor condensate is not removed before it enters the sewage system, it can cause significant environmental damage. Therefore, condensate treatment is not only the responsible thing to do, but legislators also demand that condensate is processed safely and properly.  We support this with our Atlas Copco OSC oil water separator.
